The natural beauty and skincare brand Bybi has recently announced a world first in creating a truly carbon-negative skincare product.
Whereas many brands and products claim to be carbon-neutral, Bybi have taken it one step further with their new Glowcurrant Booster, which takes more CO2 out of the atmosphere than it puts in across all stages of production.
BodyPak Ltd had their own part to play in this story, producing the bespoke 15ml bottle from a sugarcane biopolymer. The bottle is sustainably sourced, recyclable, and can be processed in the same waste streams as conventional polymers after use.
This material selection, coupled with further efforts along the supply chain by Bybi helped achieve the carbon-negative product they wanted.
